Dumbo is an elephant.
Elephants are my mothers favorite animal.
My mother took us to the beach every weekend as a child. We’d play until sunset, unless I was too tired or my brother was sunburned. The water seemed warmer at sunset. The people came in crowds to catch the last glimpse of the sun they’d see that day.
This is peace. This is heaven. This is why I don’t ever want to live further from the beach.
I’ve always lived for sunset.
